What’s the difference between Sodium Butyrate and Calcium/Magnesium Butyrate?Updated a year ago

The primary distinction between the two forms of BodyBio Butyrate lies in the minerals employed in the formation of the butyrate salt: sodium combined with butyric acid, or a fusion of calcium, magnesium, and butyric acid. Beyond this, there's no discernible difference between the two forms.

We provide these dual options given that the majority of scientific research conducted on butyrate utilizes sodium butyrate, which we recommend for most individuals. However, we understand and respect that some may prefer to limit their sodium intake. Consequently, we offer the calcium/magnesium version as an equally effective alternative. Both formulations deliver the same level of effectiveness.
